The idea of one completely slipped my mind; that A GAY ASS CARTOON might need a website. Yes, a Youtube channel, Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, blog, and Vine is one thing...but no, a website never caught my attention.  Because I'm a genius, right......
Yeah, right....

Okay, so we now have a web site. It still needs some work...doesn't seem "gay ass" enough. It's up and running though.  Just waiting for you, YES YOU, to check it out. G.A.C website is going to be filled with LGBT goodies. Cartoons of course, live footage, updates, LGBT articles, artist networks and collaboration...who knows what else?

A Gay Ass Cartoon first one-on-one Animated Interview

A Gay Ass Cartoon will be presenting its first one-on-one animated interview! Steezo Da' Champ will be the first of many to be interviewed and animated! A producer, song writing, and actor out of Atlanta, Georgia. This diverse aggressive lesbian, can't be put into one genre of music. Her style, rhythm, and lyrics set her about from your everyday "stud rapper".

At one point, she was offered to feature her soundtrack Shawty Badd on G.A.C (as we do with LGBT artist). But after exploring more about this artist, we figured it be best to give Steezo her every own episode. It just felt right.....

I mean to be honest, Steezo has the uniqueness people are looking for. Designing her character alone gave me more freedom of expression, then most.  You'll see what I'm talking about when her episode hits.  This is one artist that is bound to go far. Check her out here:

This one-on-one interview has a working title...we are calling it "Stud Rap Game with Steezo Da'Champ" for now. Okay, so we might just stick with that...It is scheduled to release sometime in the month on December, on our youtube channel.

SLY : New Gay Male Cast Member

A Gay Ass Cartoon is happy to announce our new cast member. His name is Sly, labeled as a gay male...if anyone needs to know.
I, for one, am very excited. Its been a while since we had the gay male perspective on the show....not since we first started...with Ninja.  Its nearly ten episodes later, and we are just getting another male on the cartoon...sad. Oh well, what can you do...

A little more about Sly....well,
I can't tell you much.  I do know he's in his mid-twenties and best friends with NefB...the rest you'll have to hear from him. Sly will be making his first appear-ance on A GAY ASS CARTOON this week.   The two best friends will be covering two of our fan topic requests.  The footage for that isn't quite done yet, but we did put together a few blooper/teaser clips. 

Later, after the topic requests have been featured, Sly will most likely get his own introduction. Not to be blunt, but I'm going to milk this opportunity dry. First Sly...then all his gay friends...then the world....

The Fans

I have decided I want this cartoon to focus around two things...well three things: LGBT culture, LGBT promoting, and the fans. This blog is about the last, of the three..if you didn't notice. And if you did..ha ha you are just reading words.

Anyway, the fans. They are the driving force behind it all.  Whenever someone comes up to me and say, "Oh, I like that cartoon you're doing", or, "I'm excited about the cartoon." I get all warm inside.

So warm, I start to sweat and a since of insecurity takes over. My fever raises, and before you know it, I'm taking off clothes. 

Then, I got to thinking.

"Why am I naked? Why am I stressing myself out?". After staring at the ceiling, pondering this idea for about 3 hours. It hit me. I will have the fans do the work. They want to be all supportive and excited...I'll show them!

I am happy to announce the next Facebook event, for A GAY ASS CARTOON. It is titled "Fan Request WANTED". During this event, fans will be able to post any LGBT topics that they would like featured on A GAY ASS CARTOON YouTube channel. 

I personally think it is great way to stop sweating....

and interact with fans..

StudvilleTV Collaboration

This week airs the promotional animated campaign of StudvilleTV. Brought to you to by yours truly....A Gay Ass Cartoon. The campaign's goal is the reach the budget need for season three of StudvilleTV. To contribute to this campaign visit ingiegogo.com .

StudvilleTV is a YouTube drama series that has been airing for over two years now.  The show focuses around the lives of four lesbian friends.  Which of course are all studs, hence the title. In this series you explore the up and downs on day-to-day life as a professional stud...missed in with plenty of sex and drama. With over 40,000 subscribers in counting, the series is steadily growing in fans.

I'm honored to be apart of this collaboration. Geeked in fact...
The campaign will be an animation short, that will be featured on both channels- StudvilleTV and A Gay Ass Cartoon. Starring Shawn Taylor, who plays Riley on StudvilleTV, and their director/writer Sheri Johnson. Its going to be a sweet promo....heck we might even collaborate some more, if all goes well.

When and how did you first become interested in music? I became interested in music at the age of 10. From writing and playing the piano and drums at the age of 12. I started to perform and do little shows.. how I became interested in music was the first time I ever heard "Naughty" by Nature Hip Hop Hooray. I use to dance in front of the TV every time the song would come on. The beat and the lyrics stoke to me ever since I was young... How long have you been creating music? I been creating music since I was 10. I started with poetry and ended up writing my own songs, and producing my music with the poems I would write. Who are your musical inspirations?  My musical inspirations are Michael Jackson, Kid N Play, Usher, and Kanye West. If you could describe your music in 3 words, what would you call it? truthful, joyful, lifting Do you think your music is mostly enjoyed more for the beats or for the lyrical flow and content? I would say it would be both. The artist that I work with, I pick out to be on a certain track, that I feel would be good for the both of us. I feel it would bring more to just the beat…I would say the lyrics are what make the song. We talk about what we go through, or been through. We make sure to let people know that their not the only ones feeling the war that they feel. Studlyfenation How do you separate yourself from other artists? I separate myself from the others by working with the best, and helping others. I listen to their music first, before I choose who I want to work with…I’m picky but not that picky on working with others. The reason why I say picky is because, I want to make sure whoever I choose to do a track with, they have a different flow then others.  Make sure they can deliver right. I also strive to work with people who never had the chance to tell their stories, so I make sure to book studio time for them and work with them. I’m very different from other artist..by saying that, I’m not the cocky "all-in-your-face" type of artist.  What do you hope to do with your music?   I hope to share with the world my music and my movement Studlyfenation. I want to help the LGBT artist have their talent be seen and heard. Not just musicians, I want to help all types of artist, that people don’t really pay that much attention to. What in your opinion is the biggest barrier an artist like yourself, has to face and overcome, to gain any commercial success? I feel being a stud.  We have to face what we look like and how we dress. Like in order to gain the commercial success. BAD STUD CLUB Collaboration

PrettyBoy Pree Pree, CEO and founder of Bad Stud Club will be making her first appearance on the cartoon in the coming week.  A project that has been in the planning stages for sometime now. We finally ready to put this duo to the test.

On June 18th, the first of many collaborations will take place on our YouTube channel.  We will be not only transforming PrettyBoy Pree Pree to a gay ass cast member, but in addition, merging both 2D and 3D worlds. Depending on how this goes, fans may see a lot more from Bad Stud Club in upcoming episodes. An introduction to what could be a long friendship between these two web series airs soon. What the fuck is that? You ask.

The next GAY ASS CARTOON episode that's what! LaSmoothe makes her name on the show...with her own show lol.  We are setting up the chairs and cameras now (going for the talk show feel.).
Call her the girl with too many questions, LaSmoothe will be grilling some of our other cast members. LGBT question and answer session, I guess, you can say.

LaSmoothe is too funny...you should hear some of the shit that comes out her mouth. Sex positions, ratchets, homosexually drama...it is exactly the type of thing we encourage here at GAC.  We are going to give her the mic and let her rap...well not literally...but you know what I mean.

We have two interviews already in the works. One with the beloved smoker NefB and the other, a new cast member by the name of Ana. This could change the pace of A GAY ASS CARTOON...in a good way. We have tried one-on-one conversation with Internet Dating. Now that the audio is in check. This will be round two with The LaCool Broadcast. Magic in the making...

The femme lesbian's point-of-view hasn't really been expressed in A Gay Ass Cartoon.  It's time to change that.  I don't want the ladies to think this is a sausage fest.  I love me some "girly" girl now.  They really do put the sexiness in the whole idea of lesbians...ask anybody...straight or gay.  Who doesn't love a lipstick lesbian?

Therefore, MalaysiaB's time has finally came.  The only lipstick lesbian to join A Gay Ass Cartoon, so far, is going to have to represent for the whole team.  This MalaysiaB is a busy girl.  Believe me when I say she is on her grind and not slowing down.  I basically had to make an appointment to get in a few words with her. The conversation was golden. While worth the wait. I can't wait to share it on our YouTube channel.

Introducing The Ninja

The hommie Allen, going under the code name Ninja, has joined A Gay Ass Cartoon.  We are going to have our first interview with a gay man!  Its been all women in the past.  It is time to put the "G" in LGBT.  Get a diverse look on the community.  Plus, it sometimes feels like there are more of them, then there are of us anyways.  In them, I mean gay men (and us would be lesbians). I know they say more females are born each year, but you wouldn't think that walking through West Hollywood, California. Gay men make the community, if you ask me.

So, I personally find it very important to have Ninja speak.  Him and NefB go way back (maybe even related..I didn't ask), so she'll be the one interviewing him.  I'll be holding the camera this time....cross your fingers.  NefB already has a few interesting topics in mind...and no they don't have anything to do with back history month (for those that saw our last video blooper with Ninja, NefB, and I ) We'll be talking relationships and dating, I believe. We'll see how far we can get with it.

On a non related...but related note: I'm getting some new audio equipment soon.  Probably after this interview session with Ninja. I need cleaner sound. Was told by a wise man, "Either go hard, or go home"
So I guess I'll go hard...cause I'm not moving back to 2D Land.
